Millennium Kneelers
Millennium Kneelers

In the late 1990s members of Christ Church congregation designed and produced a number of hassocks (kneelers) to celebrate the millennium of Christ's Incarnation. On Sunday 30th January 2000 - our Patronal Festival - the kneelers were dedicated by the Bishop of Southwark the Very Reverend Tom Butler. The kneelers can be found in the pews in the nave. Photographs of all the kneelers and brief details about who sponsored which kneeler and for whom they were produced can be found here.

All are for the greater glory of God in Christ.

An A3 poster of the millennium kneelers can be downloded here
