The Senior Choir is open to all adults and young people over the age of 12. The choir sings at the morning service each Sunday and performs a diverse range of accessible music.
In addition to the Sunday services, the choir performs regular concerts. Recent, large-scale orchestral/choral projects have included Handel's Messiah and Vivaldi's Gloria. The choir is also joined by the South London Brass Ensemble for the Easter Day and Christmas Carol services.
Singing in the Senior Choir would offer young people hoping to pursue a career in music a fantastic head start in choral singing. Membership of a choir is great for any CV and would enhance both university and job applications.
You do not need to be able to read music to join the choir. Don't worry if you're a well-seasoned choral singer or have never sung in a choir before – we would be delighted to welcome you and all that is needed is lots of enthusiasm!
